My high school theater program had an older halogen lighting system for a majority of my time there. As a result of this, there was less versatility in how we could design productions. I had to get very creative when it came to design work and ideas. From mixing gels to putting separate lighting instruments backstage, coming up with creative ideas to further improve our shows’ quality was a fun and exiting challenge which I looked forward to in every production.
